Coming to terms with a friend or relative’s end of life is something that many people find a very difficult situation to face. We understand how emotional and difficult these times can be. Our staff are on hand to provide a holistic, compassionate and dignified approach to end of life care to the resident as well as their friends and families.
At Bridgedale House we provide 24 hour specialist end of life care in a peaceful, quiet and comfortable environment, with assistance from a multidisciplinary team we aim to manage well-being as well as to control pain and other related symptoms.
The Multidisciplinary team is made up of the home’s Manager Sarah Harrison, the home’s GP- Dr Humphrey Emery, Community nurses and if required the Palliative care team from St Lukes Hospice. This team work closely to ensure a holistic care package.
Bridgedale House is also able to accommodate relatives wishing to stay overnight with their loved ones at the end of life.
